QuietPace Atelier

Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to a course? Link

You receive 12 months of access, including updates and supplementary notes. We believe a year of deliberate practice supports meaningful progress without rushing.

What is the “quiet pace” approach? Link

We emphasize measured sessions, timeboxed drills, and purposeful rests. The goal is consistent, calm improvement—no countdowns or pressure tactics.

What materials do I need? Link

Start with HB–4B graphite pencils, a kneaded eraser, smooth sketch paper, and a soft charcoal stick. For ink, a fine liner and a brush pen will suffice. Colored pencils: a limited, high-chroma set of 12.

How does critique work? Link

You’ll receive structured notes highlighting composition, value structure, and edge quality. Feedback is clear, respectful, and tied to course outcomes.

What is your refund policy? Link

We offer a 14-day refund window if you haven’t completed more than 20% of a course. We do not promise specific artistic outcomes, but we stand behind our teaching quality.

Can I learn part-time? Link

Yes. Most learners practice 30–90 minutes per session, 3–5 times a week. The Pace Dial on our home page helps plan focused routines.

How do I choose my level? Link

If you’re new to controlled line and value grouping, start with Beginner. If you understand gesture and proportion basics, try Intermediate. Comfortable with edges and shadow mapping? Advanced may fit.

Do you provide certificates? Link

Yes. Upon completion you receive a digital certificate noting course scope and hours. It reflects effort and learning but is not an academic credential.

How fast is support? Link

We typically respond within two business days. Complex critique questions may take longer to ensure quality.
